CLUB VINO PROGRAMME OF EVENTS 2010

Bella and Claire look after the bar for a Vino Kitchen Italian Table evening

Our aim is to work directly with a handful of small wine producers who make great wines and who are personal friends. We will bring these wines direct to you: wines with personality; wines with a story to tell; wines made by real people who work the land, harvest and press the grapes, vinify and age the wines themselves; wines above all that we ourselves love drinking.

Wine may just be the fermented juice of grapes, but we believe that it is much more than simply a liquid inside a bottle: for us, it’s as much about the people who make it, the lands they come from, the taste of the terroir, the local gastronomy, the culture and traditions. And it’s about friendship and sharing.

Vino is about building direct relationships between wine producers wine lovers. We keep Club Vino members informed about what is happening in the vineyards and wine cellars throughout the year. We arrange occasional talks, presentations and tastings about wine areas and producers. There will be wine dinners in conjunction with wine producers and local restaurants. And we will continue to develop and organise Vino wine tours to the great vineyards of Italy, France, and elsewhere in order to experience, to learn, to taste and above all to enjoy direct at the source.

Above all, our aim is for Vino to become a true community of wine lovers. We hope you’ll join us.
